Why I Picked The Blog Name: The Teal Monarch

Can you tell by my tattoo? :)

I got this tattoo three years ago. The symbol first came to me when I went out in nature by myself for hours for some self-therapy. When I came back home, I randomly drew from a deck of cards I had, and pulled a teal monarch.

From there, I started using it as a symbol to better myself and help others in the process. I tattooed it on my wrist so I can look at it everyday. It’s a reminder that I am always in transformation, and will never stop growing.

It’s also a reminder to see how far I have come through my past obstacles and pain.

It’s my mission to take my pain, heal from it, and help others.
