One Of The Best Practices That Lessens My Anxiety

Exercise 

This is HUGE for managing my anxiety. 

Anxiety feels like trapped energy inside my body. S0 - exercise is the best way to get that energy OUT. 

I’ll admit, many days it can be very hard to find motivation to exercise. When I get home from work, I just want to watch TV, eat dinner and go to bed. But - I have learned I have to find time to move my body and release any trapped or negative energy from the day.

I personally don’t get motivated going to a regular gym. So, I had to find an exercise outside of the gym that I actually enjoy doing.

One of my favorite exercises for the past few years is Pound Fitness. Check it out here. I became certified to teach a few years ago, and practice at home around 2-7 times a week. It challenges me, and helps me release trapped energy when I slam those ripstix into the ground. I love it.

A few other exercises I love: hiking and walking. Hiking is one of the best exercises all around because I’m out in nature, which is great for my mind, body and soul - and I’m also getting a great workout at the same time! Walking is also great because it’s low impact, and gets my body moving!
