The #1 Tool That Helps My Anxiety.

JOURNALING

Journaling might sound lame to some, but I have found it to be the best form of therapy.

Here are 3 things that get to me journal:

  1. Find a cool notebook and a nice pen. Gel pens are my favorite, because they glide nicely on paper. My favorite place to journal is a local store here called Copperfields. Many other stores and online retailers like Etsy have great journals, too!

  2. Listen to some inspiring music, or just listen to music that makes you feel good. Sometimes, I will listen to “depressing” music while I journal because it helps me get my emotions out. But - I always end it with a happy song! :)

  3. Find a nice spot to write. The beach is my favorite, or my backyard. It’s best to sit in a spot where your distractions are limited. Put the phone down, and turn the TV off!!

How to journal:

Write whatever is on your mind. I swear every time I write what’s on my mind, I always find some type of a resolution, or a better mindset. Most importantly, I never deny my emotions. I get them all out on paper, and stay honest with myself.
